My Nyko Frontman guitar has stopped working after the 3.10 update. I've read around that there are similar problems with all sorts of bluetooth connectivity after 3.10, but do you think this will be a permanent issue? Does Sony not want third party accessories to work any more, or should I expect a fix for this at the firmware release?

In the meantime, is there any way to downgrade to 3.01 so I can play Guitar Hero again?

Try pairing the device again. If that doesn't work I suggest you use the USB cable for a direct connection, just until Sony comes with a new firmware update.

I can't pair it, since it has a USB dongle that plugs directly into the PS3. The pairing is done via the dongle. Also, I tried plugging the guitar directly into the PS3, and that didn't work.

If Sony is indeed trying to keep consumers from using third party accessories, that would be pretty disappointing. If there is a firmware fix for this, I hope it comes quicker than it takes other firmware updates to come out.

AFAIK there is no way to Downgrade your PS3 firmware. I don't think Sony doesn't want us to use third party accesories, maybe is just a bug. I have an AS1 bluetooth headset and i'm using perfectly.
