Sometimes I set down my phone harder than I should. OK more of a short drop than a set down. I'm not talking about feet, but a few inches.
When I do this the battery must come loose and the phone resets. Anyone else dealing with this? If so did you find a solution?

Put a piece of felt or some kind of spongy material between the battery and the battery door.
