From what it seems, I think this phone will be better assuming everything comes out fine and their are no bugs. I think it'll be a preference of screen size (4.3 vs 3.7) and design. And of course Sense UI or stock Android. Is this basically the HD2 with Android?

Yeah, the larger screen would be extremely appealing but it ultimately comes down to two things:

1) If both are available on Verizon

2) If the Supersonic gets Android updates as quickly or nearly as quickly as the N1... which would seem doubtful.

Mostly, I'm just tired of waiting and can't buy new phone after new phone.

Hard to say without knowing more about the Supersonic, but I think it's safe to say that HTC is going to introduce a few phones this year that exceed the Nexus One.

As time passes I am sure they will make more phones that go above and beyond the Nexus One, and I doubt there won't be one soon. Really though that question comes down to what will be easier to use, vanilla Android or SenseUI (assuming it will have that).
