We can hardly believe it ourselves, but we've finally launched! Of course, gdgt weekly listeners are truly the gdgt first adopters, so this week we're giving you a show introducing the site: where gdgt came from, a whole lot about what it does -- and can do for you -- and even a little about we're going. Seriously though, we have to thank you -- the gdgt weekly listener -- for tuning these past few months, and we hope you enjoy the site. Hosts: Peter Rojas and Ryan Block...

I believe there used to be a Flash MP3 player on the site. Why not now?

Yea, I really want to get the AAC version in iTunes. I got quite a long drive to do today. Hopefully it will be up when I make a stop.

Still waiting on iTunes. But, this is awesome. Definitely a departure from the usual for a gadget site. Extremely interested to see where the community can drive things.

I can't download the MP3 or the AAC :-( They open my RSS reader (netnewswire) which tries to download the aac or mp3 and fails with 0 bytes.

Guess I'll just have to wait for iTunes. Oh well :-)

Or, alternatively, I could just have actually READ the comments here and clicked the link from dta - which worked! Thanks, dta!

Ryan, great job on the website! I have a small suggestion.. now that the website is all pretty, I don't want to leave it. Would it be too much trouble to add a streaming version of the mp3 on the website? That way, when I'm done listening.. I can click around gdgt? Just a thought. :)

I agree with daynah, adding an MP3 link to stream right from gdgt (or to download on the spot) would be nice. Great job on the site!

I use Google Reader on my Pre to stream the MP3s. Because the link in the RSS leads to this news article, and the article doesn't address the MP3, there is no way for me to simply keep up with the podcast on my Pre. A link to the MP3 in the news article would fix this.
